University of Canterbury
UC International First Year Scholarship
Any applicant accepted into any undergraduate degree at the University of Canterbury is eligible to apply for this grant. It is a merit-based scholarship that provides $15,000 NZD for tuition for one academic year.
UC College of Engineering International Scholarship
Given that the winner is an overseas student who is enrolled full-time in the BE(Hons) degree programme at UC and pays all fees, this award is for such students..
UC Master’s Scholarship
This award is open to all master’s students at this institution. For international students studying in New Zealand, the scholarship is merit-based and its value is exclusively based on the qualifying application.
Students enrolled full-time or part-time in the university’s research master’s programme who are working on a single thesis, dissertation, research project, artistic creation, or performance with a credit weighted of 90–120 points are eligible to apply for the fellowship.
Lincoln University
Lincoln University’s Undergraduate Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship
Here, a merit-based $5,000 scholarship is being provided. The student must be in the final year of their bachelor’s degree and have a GPA of at least 75%, or a B+, to qualify for this grant.
Lincoln University’s International Undergraduate Scholarship –
This award is also merit-based, and only students with a GPA of 75% or more or a B+ in their final year of undergraduate study are eligible to apply.
Tongarewa Scholarship
The grant amount for this merit-based scholarship, which is open to international students beginning a postgraduate programme or paying full tuition for the first year of an undergraduate degree, can range from NZD 5,000 to NZD 10,000.
Victoria University of Wellington
Massey University’s Creative Art International Excellence Scholarship
This university offers the following degree programmes in the creative arts: a Bachelor of Design, a Fine Arts degree, a Mori Visual Arts degree, a degree in creative media production, and a degree in commercial music. Each scholarship is worth NZD 15,000 for a 3-year degree and NZD 20,000 for a 4-year degree.
University of Waikato
University of Waikato International Excellence Scholarship
Students who are first-time enrollees at the University of Waikato for an undergraduate or graduate degree. You can submit an application for the NZD 10,000 merit scholarship.
University of Waikato Foundation Studies Scholarships
This grant is available to students who are enrolling for the first time in the University of Waikato’s Certificate of Attainment in Foundation Studies or Certificate of University Preparation (CUP).
John Wright Scholarships
John Wright Academic Scholarship
A minimum grade point average of 70% in four academic disciplines (excluding the local language) is typically required for this award. The scholarship amount is determined as 10% of the first year’s tuition costs for the student.
John Wright Sports Scholarship
Students who display excellence in sports are eligible for this scholarship. The partial scholarship will be equal to 20% of a student’s first year tuition fee, covering the awardees’ entire first year tuition fee.
Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology-Bachelor’s Degree Scholarship
If you are a first-time student at this university, you are qualified for this award. These scholarships, which grant a 3,000 NZD prize, are open to all students having a bachelor’s degree.
