NDTV-Deakin Scholarship

NDTV Deakin Scholarship Program was launched in April 2015 to offer one 100% tuition fee scholarship to a candidate for studies at Deakin University, Australia. Winner of the inaugural scholarship program is currently studying Bachelor of Communication (Journalism). 2016 got bigger and better and saw four meritorious students win 100% tuition fee scholarships. In 2017, the program entered its 3rd year and offered two scholarships each, for undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

The scholarship is open to Indian students, who are pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at Deakin University in Australia. NDTV – Deakin Scholarship covers 100% of tuition fees.

Eligibility Criteria for the Scholarship

For postgraduate studies at Deakin, the applicant must have:

•     Bachelor’s degree more than 80%

Selection Process

•     Candidates are selected for the scholarship in a three-stage process which includes application review, semi-final interview and on-campus final selection activities.
•     Interview: The top 15 candidates are then invited for a face-to-face interview by a panel of representatives from NDTV and Deakin University.
