Latvia Study Visa Process
To enter Latvia, students require a visa; if they plan to stay for a longer time than a month, international students must apply for a long-term visa. Before applying for a Latvia study visa, students must first get an acceptance letter from the university. Willing students should begin the visa application procedure as soon as feasible because it can take some time.
In order to do so, the student must take the following actions:-
• The students must bring original documentation.
• The conditional Offer Letter and the invoice for the Application Fee would be sent to the applicant. Direct deposit into the universities’ account would be made for payment. The fee of the application is not refunded.
• Some universities conduct Skype interviews or online assessments of applicants.
• Educational records will be submitted to the AIC, or Academic Information Centre, for university authentication. 2 to 4 weeks would pass after this operation.
The University will deliver the following upon obtaining the AIC Statement:
- Acceptance letter
- Study consensus
- Tax Receipt for Tuition (refundable in case of visa rejection)
- For the security deposit, a bill (refundable in case of visa rejection)
The documents will be sent to the institution once the tuition has been properly paid.
The students would then receive supporting documentation for their visas from the university. Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree would receive an invitation letter, but students pursuing a master’s degree would receive an invitation letter, a guarantee of a visa, and a guarantee of housing.
For a face-to-face interview, the candidate must travel to the embassy with all required documentation.
