Government-funded Australian scholarships for international students
Australia Awards Scholarships (AAS) – Scholarships for students from selected nations in the Asia-Pacific region, Africa, and the Middle East to study in Australia at all degree levels (bachelor’s, master’s, PhD). The Hadi Soesastro Prize and/or the Allison Sudradjat Prize are both open to submissions from Indonesia.
Destination Australia awards – Both domestic and foreign students may apply for more than 1,000 scholarships up to AU$15,000 per student each year to study at all levels at universities in regional Australia.
Research Training Program (RTP) – Australian scholarships for postgraduate study at an Australian university are available to both native and foreign students.
Australian scholarships for international students at particular universities
Australian Catholic University International Student Scholarships – Awards of merit-based scholarships for beginning overseas undergraduate and graduate students.
Australian National University – There are several scholarships for international students at all academic levels that can be discovered by using a search engine on the university website.
Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI) – For master’s or PhD students enrolling at the University of Adelaide, tuition fee scholarships are available.
Curtin University International Research Scholarships – Scholarships from abroad for students enrolled in master’s or doctoral programmes at Curtin University in Perth. The institution is also giving three international undergraduate and master’s by coursework students $10,000 Meng Fei Innovative Future Leader Scholarships.
La Trobe Academic Excellence Scholarships (AES) – International students might receive scholarships to attend La Trobe University in Melbourne. The maximum duration of the scholarship is two semesters.

Rotary Peace Fellowships – Scholarships from Australia provided to master’s students enrolled in a Rotary Peace Center (such as at the University of Queensland, Australia).
University of Sydney International Scholarships – A number of Australian scholarships are available to undergraduate international students attending the University of Sydney. Additionally, scholarships are available to graduate students.
University of Southern Queensland (USQ) Greater China International Student Bursary – For undergraduate or graduate students from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, or Taiwan, there are five bursaries worth up to AU $5,000 available.
University of Sydney International Scholarship (USydIS) – Scholarships for international students enrolled in University of Sydney research degrees (master’s or PhD).
University of Western Australia International Postgraduate Research Scholarships – Masters and PhD research fellowships are available at the University of Western Australia for international students and provide health insurance, a fortnightly stipend for living expenses, and tuition costs.
UTS International Undergraduate Full Tuition Scholarship – For the term of the scholarship, UTS will cover each recipient’s tuition costs for the authorised bachelor’s degree. According to a full-time study load, the scholarship is valid for the typical number of sessions needed to finish the recipient’s undergraduate course. A comparable postgraduate fellowship is also available.
Victoria University International Scholarships – A variety of financial aid options are available for international students, including the VU International Postgraduate Research Scholarship.
Other international students’ scholarships in Australia
International Water Centre Scholarships for International Students – Australian financial aid is available for international students enrolled in the University of Queensland’s Masters in Integrated Water Management programme in Brisbane.
The Northcote Graduate Scholarship – a scholarship for up to three years of postgraduate study in Australia for students from the UK.
Fulbright Program – All career levels can apply for scholarships from the Australian-American Fulbright Commission.
