New Zealand Excellence Awards (NZEA)
New Zealand Excellence Awards (NZEA) are awards jointly funded by new zealand universities and Education New Zealand (ENZ). This award supports indian students to study in new zealand undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the field of business , fashion and STEM.
The NZEA features scholarships across seven New Zealand universities, offering an opportunity for Indian students to experience New Zealand excellence in various programmes:
AUT University
Lincoln University
Massey University
The University of Auckland
The University of Waikato
University of Otago
Victoria University of Wellington
Each year 31 awards are granted. No of PG Scholarships: 28; No of UG Scholarships: 3
Benefits
PG Scholarships: NZ $5,000 each;
UG Scholarships: NZ $10,000 each
Eligibility Criteria
- Be at least 18 years at the time of application
- Hold current citizenship of India (and not be a citizen or Permanent Resident of New Zealand or Australia)
- Hold a minimum equivalent GPA of B+ in your most recent or highest tertiary qualification
- Hold an unconditional or conditional offer for the one of the NZEA eligible courses
Application Process
The application process is online. Along with application you will need to upload the following documents:
Evidence of offer of place at a New Zealand university
Curriculum Vitae
All academic transcripts
Proof of Indian Citizenship and every other country for which you hold citizenship
You will also need to provide the names and emails of two referees to request references.
Selection Process
The selection is done jointly by NZEA and the university.
